There’s something new coming to Bispham this September, and I’m really excited to finally share it.

Kobe Reiki is coming to Yoga Rise

Hey guys, I’m Rob, founder of Kobe Reiki, based here in Fleetwood and working with people across the Fylde Coast.

I’m a Reiki practitioner and a proud member of the Reiki Association, and my work is focused on helping people who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, constantly switched on or stuck in those never-ending overthinking loops.

And now, I’m taking Kobe Reiki a little further along the Fylde Coast.

From September 2026, I’ll be opening a Reiki treatment room at Yoga Rise in Bispham.

This is a really exciting step for Kobe Reiki, and I can’t wait to create a space where people can step away from everyday life for a while and simply slow down.

So, what exactly is Reiki?

If you’ve never experienced Reiki before, you might be wondering what it's all about.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese practice that is traditionally used to promote relaxation and wellbeing.

And no, you don’t need to be spiritual or believe in anything for you to come along and experience a Reiki session.

You can simply arrive as you are.

Maybe your mind has been running at 100mph.

Maybe you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

Maybe you just want half an hour where nobody needs anything from you.

That's where I believe Reiki can offer something valuable: a chance to pause.

Creating space to switch off

My mission with Kobe Reiki is simple.

I want to create spaces where people can:

Slow down.
Switch off.
Reconnect.

Whether that's in my Fleetwood studio, remotely from your own home, or at Yoga Rise Studio from September 2026 in Bispham Blackpool, I want Reiki to feel accessible and welcoming.

You don't have to know anything about Reiki before you come.

You don't have to have a particular belief system.

You don't even have to know exactly what you're looking for.

Sometimes you just know you need a reset.

Reiki in Fleetwood and across the Fylde Coast

Although I’m expanding into Bispham, Fleetwood will always be home for Kobe Reiki.

My Fleetwood home studio is already open, and I also offer remote Reiki sessions for people who prefer to experience their session from home.

And then there’s one of my favourite parts of working on the Fylde Coast...

the beach.

There’s something about being beside the sea that naturally encourages you to slow down.

The sound of the water.

The open space.

The changing sky.

And those Fleetwood sunsets.

It’s one of the reasons I love incorporating the coastline and outdoor experiences into the Kobe Reiki journey.
